SUMMARY: Notice is hereby given that a complaint was filed with the U.S. International Trade Commission on July 22, 2019, under section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended, on behalf of Reynolds Presto Products Inc. of Lake Forest, Illinois. Supplements to the complaint were filed on August 8, 2019, and August 9, 2019. The complaint alleges violations of section 337 based upon the importation into the United States, the sale for importation, and the sale within the United States after importation of certain child resistant closures with slider devices having a user actuated insertable torpedo for selectively opening the closures and slider devices therefor by reason of infringement of certain claims of U.S. Patent No. 9,505,531 (“the ‘531 patent”); U.S. Patent No. 9,554,628 (“the ‘628 patent”); and U.S. Patent no. 10,273,058 (“the ‘058 patent”).
